Kelly Mason is first and foremost a mother.
With over thirty years in creative fields, including breaking barriers as the first female cinematographer of ICG Local 669 (film), her most profound work lies in understanding and guiding human behaviour, energy, and the patterns that shape how we live and lead.
For more than twenty years, Kelly has led thousands worldwide through transformative healing.
After a medical miracle, she gained the ability to perceive and work with the unseen energetic patterns that influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
She calls this understanding “the Truths behind The Veil” , the mechanisms shaping how we think and live.
Her practical system,
The KULA Method™: Know. Understand. Lead. Activate.
Helps people:
- reframe their “truths”
- respond with intention
- create lasting change
Kelly’s mission is simple:
To protect the next generation by helping adults live, lead, and relate with clarity, responsibility, and truth.
Kula Academy (KA)
Kula Academy is a learning hub dedicated to helping adults become more steady, clear, and self-led in how they live, relate, and lead.
At its core, KPA exists for one reason:
To protect the next generation by supporting the adults shaping it.
Children don’t just learn from what we say, they absorb how we feel, how we respond, and how we live.
Which means the inner state of parents, educators, and leaders directly shapes the environments children grow up in.
Because when adults are fully themselves, the people and environments around them change.
And that is how the future changes.
About the Name
Kula is a Sanskrit term that refers to family, lineage, or community, a group bound not by sameness, but by shared responsibility, mutual respect, and purpose. In contemplative traditions, it often describes a learning community grounded in relationship, practice, and continuity across generations.
Research & Experiential-Informed Programs
KA’s curriculum is informed by established research in neuroscience, psychophysiology, emotional regulation, and contemplative, experiential practice.
Program design draws from widely studied principles of:
-
nervous system regulation
-
attention and perception training
-
breath-based regulation
-
emotional coherence and self-observation
These principles are supported by decades of research in neuroscience and behavioral science, including frameworks developed within academic institutions and research organizations such as Harvard University and the HeartMath Institute.
KA does not teach theory for theory’s sake. Research is translated into practical learning environments that emphasize application, reflection, and lived integration.
An Integrated Approach to Learning
Rather than offering quick solutions or outcome-based promises, KA emphasizes a developmental approach.
Programs are designed as a coherent sequence, allowing participants to build capacity gradually, moving from foundational stability to self-direction, leadership, and long-range contribution.
Learning at KA is:
-
practice-based rather than performative
-
integrative rather than fragmented
-
developmental rather than accelerated
This approach supports maturity, resilience, and personal responsibility over time.
